Six Eyes

Sweet forum, wish I found this ages ago. If you hadn't already figured it out I'm new here. Today I started the first year at the freelance animation school as well. I dig freeware and most of my digital illustration is done using the Gimp.
Here's something I did mid year last year.

Sweet, like the red guy! Welcome to the board. And I hope you enjoy Freelance, I finished there what feels like a lifetime ago but was more like 3 or 4 years I think...
You going to go for classical or digital?

Classical, I just have to have a pencil or pen in my hand. How about yourself? Did you find it easy to get work after the course? just looking at some of the quality of work some of the other first years are producing I've gotta wonder if they would be up to Industry standards at the end of the three years.

Youd be amazed what can happen in three years. Especially if they get into the lifedrawing. I ended up going down to Wellington and eventually getting a studio after graduating. Now I spend my time paying the rent with retail work and doing my own stuff on the side.
