I have been working in the areas of art and design for a number years, currently freelancing as a multimedia designer. I would relish any opportunity to specialise my skills and pursue a career in concept design.
Over the past two years I have been studying concept art and design. I am constantly learning new ideas through reading, drawing, painting and photographing, and applying these to my new work.
A long term goal of mine is to become one of the best concept designers in the entertainment industry. I feel that the next step for me is to work in the industry, with the best and learning from those around me. I have a passion for design and am always investing time in my skills to get to where I want to be.
Prior to freelancing I worked for Weta Workshop as a Prop Maker on a number of films. These included Prince Caspian, District 9, Day Breakers and Avatar. This gave me a great overview of the production pipeline from design to finished product.
I have a true passion for art and design and would love to work for an exciting company that could utilise my skill set. I am willing to relocate for such an opportunity.
